What do we do in homeroom?
To watch a child make a new discovery or connection is my absolute favorite part of teaching. That's why science is such a fun subject to teach. Students can have the opportunity to ask questions, experiment, use their 5 senses to gather data, and draw conclusions. The lessons in homeroom are focused on the Utah State Standards for Second Grade, which can be found here: www.schools.utah.gov/curr/science.
